Expert care, wherever you are.
Beachside Exercise Physiology offers video-based telehealth consultations so you can access the same clinical expertise from anywhere in Australia β without needing to travel. New and existing patients welcome, nationwide.
What is telehealth Exercise Physiology?
The same clinical care, delivered via video.
Telehealth Exercise Physiology is a live, one-on-one video consultation with one of our Accredited Exercise Physiologists. It is not a phone call, a pre-recorded program, or a generic app. You receive a real-time assessment, personalised exercise prescription, and ongoing support β exactly as you would in our Mordialloc clinic.
All telehealth sessions are delivered by the same fully accredited clinicians who see patients in-clinic. Your program is built around your specific health history, goals, and home environment β then delivered via our exercise app with videos, sets, reps, and notes.
Telehealth is available to new and existing patients anywhere in Australia β not just southeast Melbourne. If you are interstate, rural, or simply prefer the convenience of home-based care, we can help.
Who telehealth suits
Telehealth works for more people than you might think.
Whether you are across town or across the country, telehealth removes the barriers that stop people getting the care they need.
Patients outside southeast Melbourne
Anywhere in Victoria or Australia β if you want Beachside EP's care, telehealth makes it possible regardless of where you live.
Patients who prefer to exercise at home
For those who train at home and want expert programming and supervision without the commute.
Post-surgery or mobility-limited patients
Recovering from surgery or managing a condition that makes travel difficult? Telehealth removes that barrier entirely.
Busy schedules and shift workers
Telehealth fits into your day more easily β no travel time, no parking, less time out of your schedule.
Older adults and aged care clients
Many of our aged care clients prefer telehealth for review appointments. Family members can join via video too.
Review appointments for existing patients
Many existing patients use telehealth for their 3 or 6-month program reviews β efficient and just as effective as coming in.
Anyone new to Exercise Physiology
Starting from your own space can feel more comfortable. Telehealth is a great first step for those new to clinical exercise care.
DVA, NDIS and WorkCover clients
Telehealth is available under most funded pathways β contact us to confirm your specific funding arrangement before booking.
Nationwide coverage
We see patients from every state and territory.
Our telehealth service is open to new and existing patients anywhere in Australia. You do not need to be in Melbourne, Victoria, or even on the eastern seaboard. If you have an internet connection and a device with a camera, we can see you.
Step by step
Simple to set up. Easy to use.
All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and internet connection. No downloads required.
Book your telehealth appointment online
Select "Telehealth" when booking through our online system. New patients should book an Initial Telehealth Consultation. Existing patients book a Return Telehealth Appointment. Let us know if you have an active Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan from your GP so we can apply your Medicare rebate.
Receive your secure link and intake form
We will send you a secure video link before your appointment, along with a short intake form if you are a new patient. Nothing to install β it runs directly in your browser on any device.
Join your session β from wherever you are
Your Exercise Physiologist will assess your movement, discuss your goals and health history, and design your program in real time. Wear comfortable clothing and have some clear floor space available if you can. For review appointments, we update your program and check in on your progress.
Receive your program via our exercise app
Just like in-clinic, your program is delivered through our exercise app β with videos, sets, reps, and notes from your clinician. You can access it anytime, anywhere, and refer back to it between sessions.
Your Medicare rebate is processed on the spot
If you have an active CDM plan from your GP, the $61.80 Medicare rebate is applied immediately via HICAPS at the time of your appointment. No forms, no waiting, no chasing.
