Exercise Physiology & NDIS
Exercise Physiology is important within your NDIS planning as it will help to improve your health and wellbeing by supporting your independence and improving your ability to complete activities of daily living.
Exercise can often be the link that assists you with reduction in fatigue, improvement of strength and mobility and the decrease in depressive symptoms. When working with an Exercise Physiologist you will find that over time you suffer from decreased pain and due to the benefits of exercise you will be able to do more activities in your everyday life.
Exercise Physiologists often work with: progressive neurological conditions (multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease), spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury, stroke, fibromyalgia, psychiatric conditions and more.
